At Metro Retail Stores, the smallest change you receive when you pay for your purchases can greatly uplift the welfare of children in need.
At the checkout counters of its supermarkets, MRSGI has deployed several coin boxes where shoppers can deposit whatever amount they can. The proceeds will go to World Vision Philippines for its Sponsor-A-Child Program, a fundraising program that aims to support the educational needs of children in various communities sponsored by the organization.
World Vision is a global humanitarian group devoted to improving the lives of children, their families and communities. It is the largest non-profit organization in the Philippines, helping over 1.5 million children every year.
“It doesn’t take much to make a big difference in children’s lives,” said MRSGI President and Chief Operating Officer Manuel Alberto. “As One Metro Family, we are aligned with World Vision Philippines in nurturing and developing a safe and enabling environment where children can fulfil their dreams of a better life.”
The World Vision coin boxes are available in supermarkets at Metro Alabang, Metro Imus and Metro Tagaytay in Cavite, Metro Feliz in Pasig City, Metro Market! Market! Taguig, Metro Ayala Center Cebu, and Super Metro Naga Camsur.
By establishing partnerships for a good cause, Metro Retail Stores is able to greatly extend the help it gives to more lives and communities in need, especially during these challenging times.
