Aljim C. Jamandre is a Senior Adviser to the Board of MRSGI. He holds a B.S. Accountancy degree (Cum laude) from the University of San Carlos, MDP from the Asian Institute of Management, and a Certified Public Accountant.

Currently, Mr. Jamandre is the President of Vicsal Development Corporation; Director of Wealth Development Bank Corporation from 2003, Director of AB Capital & Investment Corporation from 2014, and Director of Pacific Mall Corporation from 2010; and a Trustee of Vicsal Foundation, Incorporated from 2006.

Manuel C. Alberto is a Senior Adviser to the Board of MRSGI. Before his appointment, he served as the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer for 7 years from December 2018 and as Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer prior to that.

A seasoned retail executive, Mr. Alberto’s career spans more than two decades, most of which he spent handling key leadership positions in top companies that included Philippine Familymart Inc., Rustan’s Supercenter Inc., Avon Cosmetics Inc., and Jollibee Foods Corporation, to name a few. Over the years, Mr. Alberto has built expertise in retail strategy, store operations, franchise development and relations, merchandising, food safety, supply chain, organizational and systems development, and loss prevention. He is recognized as a strategic and results-oriented leader with a consistent track record of achieving sales and profit targets, cost savings, business development, and implementation of brand strategies for start-up, turn-around, and market-leading companies. He is also adept at site selection as well as store design and development.

Mr. Alberto received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Santa Clara University in California, USA, and completed his Master’s degree from the Asian Institute of Management.
