Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI) continues to build on its longstanding tradition of excellence, once again being recognized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) with three additional Bagwis Awards.

Super Metro Tagaytay was awarded the prestigious Gold Bagwis Award at a ceremony on October 29, 2024, held at the DTI Cavite Provincial Office. Super Metro Calbayog and Metro Maasin were also honored with the Silver Bagwis Award on November 6, 2024, during a ceremony at the DTI-8 Regional Office in Palo, Leyte.

With these new accolades, MRSGI has now earned a total of 49 Bagwis Awards, further solidifying its reputation for operational excellence and a customer-first approach. These recognitions underscore the company’s ongoing commitment to upholding consumer rights, ethical business practices, and exceptional service standards across its stores.

Super Metro Tagaytay Shines with the Gold Award

Receiving the Gold Bagwis Award is a reflection of Super Metro Tagaytay’s continued efforts to provide the highest standard of customer service while maintaining strong ethical business practices and community involvement. The award ceremony, attended by key MRSGI representatives such as store manager Guimbert Exconde, area manager Joseph Landicho, and HR officer Gizelle Mojica, was a proud moment for the team and the DTI officials who joined in the celebration.

Silver Awards for Super Metro Calbayog and Metro Maasin

Super Metro Calbayog and Metro Maasin were both honored with Silver Bagwis Awards for their strong commitment to consumer welfare and ethical business practices.

At the DTI ceremony in Leyte, Mae Flor Catarata, Hypermarket Manager of Super Metro Calbayog, delivered an inspiring acceptance speech, emphasizing the importance of customer-centric values.
