Benedicto Clark T. Miranda is the Vice President for Store Network Development of Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI). Before joining MRSGI, Miranda served as the Director and Head of Capital Markets and Investments for the Philippine office of global property services company Jones Lang LaSalle.

As an Investment Professional, he also previously headed the real estate and property concerns of the Philippine Representative Office of Avenue Asia Investments Management, LLC (Avenue Capital Group), and later posted to cover South Asia, and in part China and India. He has also been credited for the formal organization of the FPDSavills Research team in the Philippines, which provided high-quality advisory and transactional services to high-value clients.

Miranda’s experience in property was grounded on government service, having worked with the corporate planning groups of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority and Clark Development Corporation. He also conducted economic research and consulting work at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies as well as the University of the Philippines.

Miranda has an academic background in applied mathematics with primary interest in operations research and management science, as well as a postgraduate background in business administration and corporate strategy. He is also a licensed real estate broker, appraiser, and lecturer. He has also conducted study tours within the Philippines and in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, India, and other major cities in the United States.
