Arnold Leoncio is the Vice President for Network Expansion of Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI). In this role, Leoncio leads the expansion of the company’s retail network, which entails identifying, analyzing and acquiring strategic store locations, as well as seeing through the store design, construction and leasing.
Before his current post, Leoncio was part of Vicsal Development Corporation, the parent company of MRSGI, where he served as the Corporate Strategy Officer, spearheading initiatives related to corporate developmentand strategic direction. He was involved in corporate planning and financial analysis and evaluating potential strategic partnerships and business opportunities.
Leoncio has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in the manufacturing and service industries, both locally and abroad. Leoncio has held key roles in operations, corporate planning and strategy in companies such as Procter & Gamble Philippines, Inc, Carrier Airconditioning Corp (United Technologies Corp), CEMEX and Accenture.
Leoncio completed the double-degree Masters in Management and Manufacturing (MMM) Program at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, USA, which confers Masters degrees in Business Administration at Kellogg School of Management and in Engineering Management at McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Leoncio finished his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at the University of the Philippines, where he graduated cum laude under a government scholarship from DOST. He was a 5th placer in the mechanical engineering board exams of 1993.
